Updated over a month ago

To create Locations, click on Settings > Configuration > Company structure - Locations.

A location allows employees to be grouped by sites (London, Manchester, Dublin, etc) and to apply the corresponding public holidays to the site.

A location can be assigned to several employees.

You can create, modify or delete sites according to your needs.

Manage

You can enter the name of the site. This must be unique and can be changed at any time. To create a Location, click on + Add location.

Give it a name and click Add. The name has to be unique.

Select a country with the drop-down menu.

The country you select is associated with a list of public holidays you can then edit.

Once you are happy with your selection, click Save changes, go to Assigned and tick the box of every employee you want to assign to this Location. Then click Save changes.

Once a Location has been created, you can also delete the site. Click on the site and in the category Manage, click on Delete Location.

All employees will be unassigned from the site.

To unassign an employee from a Location, click on a Location, select Assigned and click on the minus sign at the end of the line.

Public holidays

The public holidays corresponding to the selected country and region apply to the assigned employees. You can deactivate holidays and also add custom holidays on a new Location or one already created in the category Holidays.

At the bottom, click Add custom holiday.

Give it a name, select a date, tick the box to make it a half day if necessary and click Save.

The date is then added to every employee associated with this Location.

Assign

You can assign employees to a site.

An employee can only be assigned to one site.

To unassign an employee, click the - button on the right.
