Access levels in Employee profile data 👥
📣 Exciting news! You now have the power to customize Access levels in Employee profile data settings to meet your organization’s needs.
The new Access level control prevents sensitive data from falling into the wrong hands.
With this update, you can customize who has access to what in your employee database. This has been frequently requested by our customers and here is why - depending on your company structure, you might need to give different access levels to different user groups or specific info.
Access levels can be edited and it is where we can define the permissions.
There are three types of Access levels to choose from:
Read: The user can only see the information.
Read and Edit: The user can see and modify the information.
No access: The user can’t see or modify the information.
⚠️Important note: Access levels are controlled and can only be edited by Admins.
💡 For example, although most employees’ personal details are only relevant to them and their manager, you might consider granting Read access to all employees’ emergency contact details to ensure relatives can be contacted as soon as possible in case of an emergency.
Employee profile data improvements 🛠️
An employee profile is a central space for the safekeeping of all the most important employee personal data, documents, and others.
With the Access levels update, we’ve also improved the employee profile data. We’ve turned it into one section and included a summary for a better overview.
There are seven categories of employee personal information in the employee profile data: Professional (essential employment info), Employment details (employment start, contract, etc.), Company structure (their place in the hierarchy), Personal (contact details and such), Address, Emergency contact, and Social networks.

You asked, and we listened! This was one of the most requested updates by our users. You can create a new work schedule to track attendance in days and half days.
🇳🇱 KiwiHR is now available in Dutch
Our Dutch users will now be able to use and manage all of their operations within the KiwiHR Web in Dutch.
🔄 Tellent switcher
If you use more than one of the products from Tellent’s Management Suite it is now way easier for you to switch from one to another with the Tellent switcher in KiwiHR, without a need to leave the app.
